I've been a writer since I was a young girl. If it wasn't a fictional story handwritten in a notebook, it was a journal filled to the max with insights about life, and of course...the latest crush. Over the years I've earned a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing and a MFA in Fiction. I've written plays, screenplays, nonfiction, commercials, technical documents, and even articles for the web. My specialty, however, is fiction. Expect to read about the dynamics of strained relationships in my work. Comedy is a must but don't be surprised if you shed a tear or two as well. Some writers have described my work as poignant, raw, intriguing, and even meditative, but I hope my narratives provide a wonderful place of escape as you journey through fictional worlds that can awaken deep emotion. Because when you are awake, you are alive.
